How do we collect your data?
The first way your data are collected is that you provide the data to us. This could be data that you enter into a contact form, for example.
Other data are collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page view). The collection of these data is done automatically as soon as you enter our website.
What do we use your data for?
Some of the data are collected to ensure the fault-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyse your behaviour as a user.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You always have the right to obtain free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to demand the rectification, restriction or erasure of these data. To do this and obtain answers to other questions related to data protection, you can contact us at the address given in the legal notice. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.
Analysis tools and tools of third-party providers
When you visit our website, your surfing behaviour may be statistically evaluated. This is mainly done with cookies and analytics programs. Your surfing behaviour is analysed anonymously, as a rule; the surfing behaviour cannot be traced back to you. You may object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools. You can find detailed information on this subject in the following data protection notice.
You may object to this analysis. We inform you of ways to do this in the data protection notice.

The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We preserve the confidentiality of your personal data and handle your personal data in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this data protection notice.
Different kinds of personal data are collected when you use this website. Personal data are data by which you can be identified personally. The present data protection notice tells you what data we collect and what we use the data for. It also tells you how and for what purpose this is done.
We point out that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security breaches. The complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Revocation of your consent to data processing
Many data processing processes are only possible with your express consent. You can always revoke consent you have already given. To do this, you only need to send an informal message to us by e-mail. The lawfulness of data processing done before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive or arrange for a third party to receive the data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or for the purpose of performing a contract in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of data to another controller, this will be done only insofar as it is technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential data such as purchase orders or requests that you send to us as the website operator. Within the framework of the applicable laws and regulations, you always have the right to free information about your stored personal data, the origin and recipients of your stored personal data and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to rectification, restriction of processing or erasure of such data, where applicable. 3. Data collection on our website
Cookies
Some websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and contain no viruses. Cookies serve the purpose of making our offering more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and which your browser saves.
Most of the cookies we use are session cookies. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Other cookies remain on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser at your next visit.
You can set your browser to be informed whenever cookies are placed on your computer and to only permit cookies on a case-by-case basis or to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or generally and automatically delete cookies whenever the browser is closed. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
Cookies required for the performance of electronic communications or to provide certain functions you want (e.g. shopping basket function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the fault-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies are stored (e.g. cookies for analysing your surfing behaviour), they are treated separately in this data protection notice.
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser automatically transmits to us. This information includes:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of server request
- IP address
These data are not commingled with data from other sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR, which permits data processing for the purpose of performing or initiating a contract.
Contact form
When you send us requests using the contact form, we store your data that you enter into the contact form, including the contact data you provide there, for the purpose of processing the request and answering follow-up questions. We do not disclose these data to others without your prior consent.
Therefore, the data you enter into the contact form are only processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 letter a DSGVO). You may revoke this consent at any time. To do this, you only need to send us an informal message by e-mail. The lawfulness of data processing processes before the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you enter into the contact form remain with us until you ask us to erase the data, revoke your consent to store your data or when the purpose of data storage is no longer applicable (e.g. after we finish processing your request). Compulsory legal provisions – particularly including retention periods – remain unaffected.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter offered on the website, we will need an e-mail address and other information from you that enables us to verify that you are the owner of the indicated e-mail address and agree to receive the newsletter. Other data will not be collected or only on a voluntary basis. We will use these data exclusively for sending you the requested information and will not disclose the data to third parties.
The data entered into the newsletter registration form are only stored on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR). You can always revoke the consent you have given for the storage of data, the e-mail address and the use of the e-mail address to send you the newsletter, including by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. The lawfulness of already performed data processing processes remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you provide to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored with us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and erased after you cancel your subscription. Data stored with us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members’ section) remain unaffected by this.
MailChimp
This website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service with which the distribution of newsletters can be organised and analysed, among other things. If you enter data for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter (e.g. e-mail address), the data are stored on MailChimp’s servers in the United States.
MailChimp is certified in accordance with the EU-US Privacy Shield. The Privacy Shield is a convention between the European Union (EU) and the United States that ensures compliance with European data protection standards in the United States.
We can analyse our newsletter campaigns with the help of MailChimp. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the e-mail (known as a web beacon) connects with MailChimp’s servers in the United States. This way, it can be seen that a newsletter message has been opened and what links, if any, have been clicked on. In addition, technical information (e.g. time of page view, IP address, browser type and operating system) is collected. This information cannot be attributed to newsletter recipients. They only serve the purpose of the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of this analysis can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of recipients.
If you do not want an analysis by MailChimp, you must cancel the newsletter subscription. We provide a link for this purpose in each newsletter. You can also cancel the newsletter subscription directly on the website.
These data are processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR). You can always revoke this consent by cancelling your newsletter subscription. The lawfulness of already performed data processing processes remain unaffected by the revocation.
We will store your data entered for the purpose of the newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and erased both on our servers and on MailChimp’s servers after you cancel the newsletter subscription. Data stored with us for other purposes (e.g. e-mail addresses for the members’ section) remain unaffected by this.
For more detailed information, please see the data protection provisions of MailChimp at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.
Data processing agreement
We have entered into a data processing agreement with MailChimp, in which MailChimp is obligated to protect the data of our customers and not disclose them to third parties. This agreement can be viewed at the following link: https://mailchimp.com/legal/forms/data-processing-agreement/sample-agreement/.

Google Web Fonts
This website uses web fonts provided by Google for the sake of the uniform font presentation. When you visit the website, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to correctly display texts and fonts.
For this purpose, the browser you use must establish a connection to Google’s servers. In this way, Google learns that our website was visited from your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, your computer will use a standard font.
You can find additional information on Google Web Fonts at: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s data protection notice: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
